Bad Storm..........

We got hammered tonight. I saw and reported 70+ mph winds at my spotting location. It snaped a 12" tree trunk in half a block from me.

Lots of damage............

Note the bow echo from the high winds..........some reported up to 100mph.

We just had the north edge hit us, wind at 35mph and rain at around 8-in a hour at the max... could look at the weather station and just watch the rain amount climb.. Got about 2-in from the storm in no time.

Yup nudder wind and rain event and some thunder I was out by Grand Prairie when it blew through.

We got hammered good had a few large limbs hit the ground. Other than that all ford vehicles are safe with no damage. Hopefully no other members on here had a bad nite.

Yep, I got to chase downed power lines all evening. Nothing major though in my area.

Lost the entire back section of ours, but it was old and needed replacing. We haven't had power in our neighborhood since 7pm, last night. At 3am, power came on for about 15 mins, but there was this weird glow in the backyard. Turns out the transformer was "fully involved"!! Burned itself out in about 30 seconds and some of Fire1's counterparts came by to check on it. No telling when we'll get "turned back on", but I'm starting to have my doubts about the contents of our fridge, at this point.
Lots of downed trees and fences in our area, but other than that, nothing major. The Mini-van Crusher didn't even blink!
