Bad CPS? Vid included

all i can say is you really know your truck if you do notice that rammertide. from what iv'e read and seen on my buddies 95 7.3, it could be the cps.

My buddy with his 95 is/will be in the process of rebuilding his turbo, just changed out his CPS to fix a hiccup he had every once in a while, replaced his fuel bowl valve o-rings, and still has a fuel leak that needs to be fixed. so, you may have had a great OBS that did great and most of them are trouble-free if taken care of. but just goes to show that every truck can have problems, and after you work out the kinks, you'll end up with a pretty reliable truck.

I changed the cps...only thing else as far as a cps problem would be is to get the black cps back in it. But I dont think thats the problem any more.

Dis-regard. I passed all the diagnostics with flying colors. They suggested I take the chip out and see whow it acts. I asked about the injector wiring harness....the guy sniffed the oil cap and said my injector harness seemed fine. I could understand his method with the oil flowing through the same are and the smell of burnt wire, but is that a valid method?

read the injector R&R wiki you need to read up on how these injection systems work.

sniffing the valve cover / oil cap would work with a trained nose but not if you don;t know what you are sniffing for.

I would be smelling for burnt wiring??? I burn up wiring factory to factory because some moron wanted to wire 220 3 phase feed rail THEIR way and not the universal way.
