So I got my braided lines and went to install them and one of the rear lines was short (both the same length) because my left rear caliper is on the front side of the axle. I called the vendor and he said that he has never seen this problem before. It looks like the same mounting plate was used on both the left and right sides. Anyone else here have a left rear caliper on the front of the axle?

I just went out and looked at my 99 F250 and the right side is on the back side of the rotor and the left is on the front side. Guess it is how they are made.

they use the same caliper part number for both sides..
so one is mounted right side up, and the other is mounted upside down.
