Backup Camera?

I have a 2008 F250 King Ranch that did not come out of the factory with a backup camera. Does anyone know if the wiring would have been installed between the rearview mirror and the tailgate camera without this option?

It is possible as the ford screens and mirror are signal sensing units. Meaning that even if it sees a reverse signal to the mirror or radio it wont go into the mode unless it sees a video signal.

Easies way to tell is to check the connector at the back of the mirror for the video wires.
