No i guess i didnt word that too well, but i really have an oil leak coming from the valley and dripping down the back of each head, i was just looking for some common items to look at, i will check the CCV as stated, although im not sure what the hair spray is for maybe somebody could elaborate on this cleaning technique????

It was the Rice & Bean joint you were parked at, that got us started ;):D

Check & Clean the I/C boots, intake boots too. Many use the [Hair Spray] to act as an adhesive/sealer... to keep them from leaking oil (over time) passed the clamps.

That 95 MPH stint, could have pushed some oil passed the boot clamps.. maybe ? is it still drip'n ? :dunno

what I always do...and have found it to work well...is to get everything apart and use simple green or your degreaser of choice and really get all the oil off. Even use a little brake cleaner on the pipes themselves but be careful on the boots...it might be too corosive. i've never tried the hairspray, but i always use windex to get it slipped together, and then get it nice and tight...take it out for a drive, come back and tweak everything a bit...and im good to go!

your ccv (crank case vent) isint leaking, it letting in oily vapor into the intake. it then goes through everything; turbo, boost tube, intercooler, boost tube, and then collects onto the x pipe witch sits right on top the intake manifold. it gets pushed out (like doing 95) and makes it look like you have a oil leak coming from the top.

Look in the wiki article on how to do the CCV bypass TikiWiki : CCV Modification for 7.3L and when your doing that take the rubber boots off the boost tubes, intercooler, x pipe and give them a wash like Jordan said. AND while thats off clean out the valley and if you still have a leak you will now easily find where its coming from. Because it could be coming from your HPOP (hi pressure oil pump). there is a little unserviceable thingy on it that leaks but thats WAY LESS likely to happen than the boost tube stuff. HAVE FUN!!!!!
