average MPG on a 05-06 F250

I am looking at getting a new F250 or 350. I was wondering what the average driver is getting for MPG while not towing and towing and so on. This is with the torqshift as well. Thanks -Steve

i believe once the 6.0s are broken in they get like 18+ and about 12 towing depending on load weight.... also remember that an exhaust, air intake, and programmer will all help raise the fuel economy of these trucks...

Before the programmer I was getting 17/19. Now after a 4.5" lift and the edge juice w/ attitude I'm getting around 16/19. I have hit around 18/21 according to my calculations.

I have been getting an overall average of 18.5 mpg empty and have 3400 miles on the truck.

I've just filled up and did my calculations I'm getting 11mpg. I olny have 1630 miles on the truck. I hope it will get better in time.

Mine did horrible in the beginning...give it around 5-7k in miles. It'll take you to hit 25k to get the best you'll see.
