Al, that exactly why I didn't get their 90 vertical...the 60" !!!:cussing: . With my bedliner there was no way it was gonna fit. They're actually designed for flatbeds where it doesn't matter.

I'm looking for a locking gas cap for the tank but RDS is giving me a wrong NAPA p/n. Is your cap threaded or the two hook style? Mine is the two hook style but the RDS 91 gal tank/tool box combo has a threaded cap and that's the p/n they keep giving me.

This is what fits mine, I *believe* this would fit your tank also:

Non-Locking

It has a hole for locking the gas cap plus I need to install keepers on mine, I lost one and what a pain finding just the cap (which I bought from JME Sales).

Hope this helps.

Al

Once you guys put this tank from Northern tool in, did you set it up to gravity feed into your main tank or what?

Be careful of gravity feed. If DOT stops you and looks at it, they will write it up. The law requires a control between the tanks. They will allow for pumps are a control because most pumps will hold the fuel from going in until turned on. I put a manual valve right out of the tank so that when I need to change the filter on it I can shut it off and not have all the fuel trying to run out on me. After the filter I put the pump. Now they do make a electronic valve that goes for about $50. I bought a $5 shutoff valve at the hardware store and bought a $30 fuelk pump at Autozone. Its a generic replacement for vehicles. Good luck with it and now the only thing you need is a porta potty in the cab so you don't have to stop on those long road trips. The wife hates my tank.

check out KSHMARINE.com the have a set up that allows you to
draw off EITHER tank & they integrate the FACTORY (in dash) fuel
gauge to indicate the fuel level in either the OE tank or the in bed
tank...at the flip of a switch

I used the port at the bottom of the tank. That way its at the bottom and you can pumb it in gravity if something happens to the pump and you don't end up stranded without anyway to get it out. My tank had a small fitting welded on to the bottom already and I just plumbed into that.
