Has anyone had any luck with the aux input on the 6 disk factory radio. I pulled the factory radio and there is no aux input on the back. It does have a empty special Ford connection slot. I talked to the local Ford dealer (don't think much of them) and they said it was for satellite radio and bluetooth modules couldn't tell me if I could wire it for my ipod. Anybody have any luck using this for a ipod or anything else.

Next ? is there a cabin filter on the SD. Local parts store said yes and Ford said no. If so where is it located?

My truck is a 2005 F-250 King Ranch Crew Cab 4x4.

Thanks,
Danny

Go to your local highend stereo place, tell them what you would like to do. they can make the AUX work, plug in what you want. The after market makes a harness they can wire up.

check out crutchfield.com they have all kinds of stuff depending on the type of MP-3 / ipod. should be fairly easy. I bought all my stuff from them. I believe you may even be able to get a setup where you can put the ipod in the glove box and control it through the factory stereo.

I went thru this as well. There never has been a factory cabin filter for any Ford Super Duty. There was once an after-market filter kit, but I don't think they make them anymore.
