just wanting to get thoughts on a 61 gallon combo fuel/storage tank for the truck. cost $579 and $69 for the in-line splice for the factory fuel neck. is anyone running this style set-up? northern hydraulics has many different kinds.
looking for:2c

also, does anyone have a simple slick solution (besides replacement) for the brake pedal that sees extra duty during winter plowing. it is worn off a little, slippery when wet, not enough to warrent replacement.:thanks

I can't help you with the brake pedal but I did build an aux tank to go under my tool box. I built it the same size as the tool box with baffles inside and it will hold 37 gallons. I have around $150 invested and it works perfect. I have the fill spout inside the tool box and I use an aux tank fuel selector which is tapped into the vent line into the original tank. I will try to get some pics tomorrow. Oh yeah, it is made out of Aluminium.

brake pedal

don't know if this will work for ya, but when the "muddy season" comes up in our Rock Crawlers, a lot of my friends and I pull the rubber off the pedal and throw on some grip tape from the local skateboard shop. On some pedals the rubber will still fit right back on over the tape, so you don't have to peel it off each time the weather changes.
