Auto to Manual

Hi guys, a buddy of mine has a 2001 350 Lariat 7.3 auto 4x4 4door lwb srw. He asked me if I knew anybody with a similar truck had converted the auto to manual. I don't. I know alot of guys who have done it on Rangers, but not SD's. Has anyone out there done so yet? And if so, was it difficult? Thanks in advance

It's been done on the SD's as well just a bit more costly proposition. The same gamut of things are needed on the SD as is on the ranger, the parts are just bigger.

Keep in mind that the SD ZF-6 output shaft is splined differently from the 4R100 so you need a new T-case also.
