ok, I watched just enough to understand so much more now - I will bite my tongue other than - his ego is just too much. "im the only one professional enough to handle a Glock 40"?? Right. I have 18 guns and have never shot myself or any other human. I sure would like to say what I am thinking right now...

on another note - if you could sue yourself for your own stupidity, he could win a bazillion dollars plus punitive.

One of my biggest issues with this whole video is that the Gun grabbing, liberals may find a way of using this to show how guns "just go off" even in the hands of "professionals" therefore no ordinary citizen can possibly be trusted with one of these evil child killing machines. I mean with "professionals" like this DEA agent protecting us, why would ANY normal citizen NEED a gun???

You can pretty much count on it. I have lived through most of my life under the realization and the grudging acceptance that 2% of the population typically ruins "it" for the remaining 98% because the 2% is too stupid to handle "it" and it is unfair to "discriminate" against them, so no one gets "it".

"It" can be just about anything. You name it, I'll come up with the 2% that denied it for the rest of us by being stupid.

Anyway, they still aren't getting my guns, even if they use this film as ammo. I'll bet I have a lot more "ammo" than they do...

i just saw him and his atty on bill o'reilly tonight. flickin chanels and caught the end of the story. he actually shot himself in the thigh. had a round from the mag. in his pocket which the round from the chamber hit, bouncing off elsewhere otherwise the e.r. doc said his femoral art. would have been severed. he also said his own kids were in the front row. he was going thru the process of tear down and i guess, according to him, the way to clear a glock is to pull trigger, but obviously not w/ a round in it. i believe a citizen was taping, DEA got ahold of tape and it was edited, and then distributed which is how it got out. i kind of got lost at that point on how it got leaked to the public. o'reilly told him to re-think his idea of a lawsuit.:dunno

I was a cop for 28 years and saw the odd thing like this. One can only wonder how they got their jobs in the first place.

I worked with a guy who got in between a K9 officer and his dog when the dog was about to take down a bad guy. When he saw the dog coming at him, instead of freezing he tried to kick it and got a nasty bite out of it. Looked real impressive, a uniformed Policeman being taken down by a dog on a busy road in rush hour traffic.

Then he tried to sue the Police Dept. He went to 8 different lawyers and they all told him to forget it.:roflmao

Yes, in order to "break down" a Glock you must pull the trigger, but first you should REMOVE the magazine, THEN rack the slide to clear the chamber of rounds, THEN pull the trigger. He failed to remove the magazine first, so when he locked the slide open after ejecting the chambered round, he had a full magazine still in place. He then released the slide, chambering a round and proceded to pull the trigger causing a NEGLIGENT not accidental discharge of his weapon.

This was just to summarize what actually happened for those not fully acquainted with firearms.
