went to wallyworld-for other reason. went to look at the oils. found the supertech tcw3. 1 gallon $10.97. now i just need to come across/find some bottle that is 30 oz. i would think i could use an old 1 qrt. oil bottle - just fill it shy of actually 32 oz....

still seems strange to dump in a quart of oil into my fuel tank:dunno:doh:

when i do, i will pass along any tid bits of info....;tu

Hey Red, I went and bought a 1 liter coke and I use it (after I drank it) to fill up with the 2 stroke oil. I measured out about 28 oz. and used a Sharpie to mark it with. Then I added 4 oz. of my favorite cetane additive and marked that line too.

So when I get close to needing to fuel up, I pour in the 2 stroke upto the 28oz. line and then fill up to the next line with the cetane additive.

Just don't let the kiddies think that Coke has a new blue Coke flavor.

Mine have already asked why that Coke is blue :D

Thats a great idea, better than pouring a little in at a time while you watch the scale on the side of the bottle.

Will adding oil to the fuel have any effect on cold starting? Will it effect fuel gelling? Im thinking it wont but i want to know for sure before i have it in my tank at 20*F.

Just my .03 but I would think @ 1 ounce per gallon (?).. that's a prudy thin mix ratio. But.. at EXTREAM low temps it would be something to be considered. Say temps below 0 :dunno

that is what i have been wondering, what effects will it have with cooler outside temps....just put another fuel pump in, so i am not 100% sure if this caused my fuel pump issue(only ran 2 tank fulls through before pump quit)...:dunno............any thoughts?
