anyway to get a better turning radius on my 97?

Yeah, anything pre 99' has zero steering radius. I used to drive a 88' crew cab long box 5spd 7.3L and what a tank to turn that thing around. I'll take my SD any time of the day. You could try to see if all the steering linkages will fit on to your truck, that and a 99 + front diff should get you steering tighter. Good luck it will be expensive if possible.


No offense bud but I'll keep my dana 50 twin beam over the unitized bearing and hub POS front axle in the SD trucks, there is 1200 dollars worth of wheel bearings on those things.

Less than 100 bucks and we can have new bearings, races and seals, and we can adjust them in the meantime....

just learn to punch the throttle on the u-turn and you'll do it in one shot :burnit

theonly way i can burn rubber is if it has just started raining,or im goin around a corner i can make churp,i got a stock 5 speed,what do you expect,lol

ill tell you what though,my 86 bronco could turn around in a paper bag,that thing has the best turning radius ive ever seen,no joke,i wish my 97 turned have as good.maybe ill drop the big 7.3 in my bronco,then make it a dually,a bronco with a diesel and drw,thats the ultimate rig
