anyone know about hp oil pumps!??

To make a long story short i tore my truck apart to find a hp oil leak. i used my shop air to blow through the hp pump system to find the leak, the only thing i found was the seal bihind the gear on the pump was blowing air . Is this my problem?

Yes, but you would be better off getting the new OPF from Ford [one piece fitting] and changing it out to that. The coupler and seal is replaced with this new item. Your local dealer should have it on the shelf at the rate these things fail.

its a revision/improved connector over this previous tsb bracket -->

do us a favor...document what you had to do to to get to the hpop...
how long it took etc...
