I did a 55 ford truck about 23 years ago. It was sweet, 429 boss motor, tubbed the bed to fit the N 55 rear tires and dropped it 4" all the way around. Had it on the road for about 2 weeks and a guy asked if it was for sell. Said could be. He said ok I'll be back in a min. walked over to Bentley and wrote me a check and asked if it was good. I said yes and went to his house to drop it off. He stopped at my bank so I could deposited the check and took me home. I was still in shock what he wrote when I got home. 65k for a truck that took me almost a year to build. That was 3 times what I made in a year at that time. There was no bondo in that truck all done OLD school, lead and sweat.

I wish I was in them shoes now. Shooting for next year I could start projects like that again. Work is starting to run pretty good now. I'm going to have to put a sells team together and put more people to work in the shop. I have expanded what we do too. To RVs, race car trailer and other application.
