I looked into it a few years ago but the EPA regs kept me out of it. If one drop of contaminated water enters the storm sewer, you will be looking at a $10,000 fine. By the time I added in the water reclamation unit, I was well over $50,000 in machinery. Even at that, the sanitation department wouldn't take any reclaimed water. I'm not really sure why, they wouldn't give me a straight answer. They told me to talk to car wash owners as they have sand and oil separators. One car wash owner wanted to charge me $10 a gallon to drop off the water.

The EPA is big on surprise visits and have no problem shutting you down. There might be different regulations in your area and you should read up on them before buying anything.

I don't plan doing this in the city limits because of all the bs, fees, extra epuipment etc etc, I'm planing on staying in surrounding areas and counties, they want a 660.00 fee yearly just tag my trailer, and another fee to just inspect it. Also working at night I don't want to be in the city limits, "packing" protection and washing would be a hassle :)

I've been looking at new pressurewasher skids, they vary a lot, why when the equipment is almost the same. All 4000-5000 psi ,2200-2900watt generator, 110-112v diesel burner
"Mit M" HS-4004-1mah- is 6062 delivered, service center is not that far.
"Landa" PGHW is 9142 at one location and at another its 11750. Same unit, there are 2 landa service centers near.
Pressure tek -is 6000 delivered, no service center near that I know of
What are your recommendations?

I own a commercial pressure cleaning company. All you will ever need is 18hp HONDA, 4000psi with hot water capability. I have found over the last 15 years that honda is the most reliable out their. Good luck in your new business. There is alot of $ in pressure washing!!!
