whats the axle rating on that trailer ;)

It has 4- 5,000 lb axles, with 8 tires rated at 3030 lbs they are 8-14.5 14 plys

so yes I'm a bit over the axle rating (no big deal to me) and just fine on the tire ratings ;)

I am confused, that is only 25k worth of tires and you said it was 40k gross. Was the truck carrying 15k?

How did you get it on the trailer without lifting the back of the truck off the ground?

40k gross would be the truck, trailer, and tractor. and roy said that was just an estimate, he didnt weigh it.

i think his trailer pivots in the middle, so it works kinda like a roll-back wrecker.

I was probably closer to 28K on the trailer and 12k on the truck, so maybe a bit over on the trailer tires, but they can take it, they are 14 plys.

The rear 26' of the 29' trailer tilts above the axles on a pin, just drive on and tilt down works really nice and there is no beaver tail to drag around :sweet
