Were you able to get the power fold, and telescoping features in the '08 mirrors to work? If so do you have any pics, or a write up of the what you did. I'm really wanting to get them, but I'm not gaining anything if I can't get the power extend/retract and power folding to work.

No, I was just wanting heated and lighted mirrors, mine stay fully extended all the time .

I do know the power fold/ telescopic can be done, just requires some wiring. Those mirrors are also $$$.
