Pretty much any of the off the shelf type diesel additives will be fine.
[I can't say how 2 stroke oil, atf, etc will treat the dpf.]

Unfortunately probably won't find any test done.
Most don't want to ruin a dpf. On the other hand, many just delete them.

SDD brain trust, do you recommend any type of additives at any interval? Fuel additive every fourth or fifth tank of fuel, for example? Still learning the diesel world. I'm sure I'll have more questions. Thanks for the feedback and the patience.

I've got a F350 CC DRW 6.0 with 103,000+ & 75,000+ towing at maximum GVW. I run Opti-Lube XPD every time I fill up.

Thanks for the great info guys. I think I might start running the Power Service at every fill up again.

I use Power Service or Diesel Kleen (summer recipe) depending on the temps at every fill up. Won't pump fuel without it. One of those Farm Ranch stores near me had the 80 oz. jugs on sale for $9.95 so I bought two a couple days ago. Should last me most of the winter or more.
