Alrightie then. Thanks guys. The excursion. I'll start by telling you about it.
04 6.0 Auto
5" Revtek lift 35" tires.
exhaust has been streight piped but still all 3.5"
AEM Brute force intake
Hypertech supertuner 3 (It was a freebie so I can't snivvle)

We picked it up with 36,000 miles on it. It now has 66,000ish
It's had many sensor replacements numerous times (on different occasions), a turbo replacement (and after that it spools HARD but way late. not smooth at all)
3 injectors have been replaced (not a clue other than budget as to why
they didn't do all 8 while they were in there)
Anyways. It went in initially for being nearly imposible to start with TONS of black smoke on cold starts. And it also sounded like a rock crusher when it would start. If we remote started it, it would shake so hard it would set off the alarm. Gosh I miss that. It was very entertaining:lmao After it thuroughly warmed up it would run rough. With alot of missing and stuttering.

After replacing a ton of sensors, the ICM ( I think that's what it was) and the 3 injectors and the turbo, it still runs a little stuttery. You really notice it when towing. And the blow off valve will just randomly blowing off intermittently. Sometimes it will blow off every secont at a maintained throttle position when traveling near 60 to 65.

So... The last time I picked it up, it had the stuttering and blow off prob. And it starts real weird now too. It starts to fire, but you have to keep cranking to get it to fire on all 7, or 8. But sometimes it will just fire up fast like it used to. And here's another strange thing. Mainly when towing after it shifts into second at about 1/3 throttle it will start to miss real bad and lay out smoke like it has stage 3 injectors in it. Sometimes it will do it in third also. But none of the other gears :/

Initially when I took it in to Ford they said that the air intake was fine and it wouldn't effect any waranty work. But now they are requiring me to return it to stock (intake) before they will continue. There's a lot of people running aftermarket intakes on them with no problems. I don't get it. I wish it had a 7.3 in it. We love everything about it, but the 6.0 in it. We just want to be able to get in it and not worry about getting stranded. Again. Maybe we just got a lemmon.
