An Update...Almost DONE!!!!

Craig and Neal, congratulations on your achievements!! My daughter in law is an LVN with only a few hours left before becoming an RN. She would like to get that part finished, but chasing after the two year old doesn't leave her a lot of time. I know I could never be a nurse, I faint at the site of blood. Any time I have blood drawn, I look the other way.

Again, congratulations guys!!! GIT-R-DONE!!!!

Congrats on being done with school. I wish I was. I can't wait until i am. i have let my grades drop this semester and that has waked my ass up. I am ready to get my 3.8 gpa back next semester.

My sister is an operating room nurse and my niece completed her nursing proram last year. Another sister is a clinical pathologist. I saw the hard work it takes to go into the medical field, I for one cannot stand the sight of blood, especially my own.

Good for you! Don't take any crud about being a male nurse either. One of the best nurses that ever took care of me in the Air Force hospital was a 5'11" 200 pound guy who did not have an ounce of fat on him. The staff called him "Bruiser".

when my oldest son was 5, he had a terrible case of pneumonia. he was very dehydrated, running in and out of a high fever. he was so sick, i had to carry him into the hospital.

we had a male nurse on the 3rd. shift that was truly a gift to us. he was so kind and made us feel very comfortable, considering how sick austin was.

he was well liked among all the staff, respected, and had a very good bedside manner.

i believe that you will be just as this young man was craig. always remember to care for your patients to the best of your ability, treat them with respect and dignity, have a good sense of humor, for it to can be a great advantage in treating your patients. a smile and a happy attitude can be great healer.

Congratulations Happeetxn. I have been a RN for about 10 years now. The last three I have been in the OR on the Open Heart Surgeries. LOVE THIS JOB!!!

I don't know how you did in school, but I did struggle to make it. Especially where I am today. Many time I would call my Mom and say I want out. She would help me through it saying that once I graduate, get the good job, I could pay for my hobbies.

I did as she said, and the truck just keeps getting more toys!!

Congrats again!! Welcome to a ever expanding career.

Hey Dan,
Thanks and congrats to yourself. School has been an SOB especially with a child who went from 0-2 y/o and another one on the way. I keep telling my wife its not mine I am never home between work, school, clinicals, and study group.
I am not the biggest materialistic person, but I am looking forward to buying a toy or two.
