and I just can see, nor will my broken body take spending a week in the truck driving from north bama to east texas, then over to Jville and back up.

what a royal PITA putting that puppy in, I had to completely re-fit and tweak the entire system to get it in with no body bolt touch issues

took me about 2hrs.

now the good part
exhaust is noticalby DEEPer purr, spins up a bit faster, the lie o meter is going crazy and being very sensitive.
I couldn't really hear the exhaust from inside the cab, till now, I think the new power and wow factor will negate any gains in mpg for a couple days
egts are 100-150 lower at 65, (policeman was behind me)
coasting down the mountain 75F outside she usually cools to 250 F on the egt, now she cools down to 150-100

the HISSING is gone, feels perkier

i had to loosen every clamp, and re-position every piece of pipe, i kept getting the down pipe touching the crossmeber -mad
now i have about 1" of clearance at the cross member and firewall,
I would hate to be next to me now in traffic, its definitley LOUDER out back,
I forgot the muffler was polished ss. its clean again for a few weeks

darn that would be a trick for me,
I will see what i can do
its really not much louder, just deeper and a bit more whine around 12-1500 rpm, then the engine noise takes over.
at first start the big block varooomp is a bit louder, but then as the trubo spools its just a low mellow mmmmmm with some WHINE in it
very pleasing to the ear, actually pretty soft at idle


if you get on it thats anoter bird, it is loud enough i can hear it now and i did see a person roll up teh window
