The one I got came with a larger pulley to keep the power up at idle. You are correct, there is a lot of high outputs that dont put out what you need at low rpms.

Sure it was not a smaller pulley..... if the pulley is larger... the alt would turn slower, it would be an underdrive pulley.... to spin it faster you would need a smaller than stock pulley to be an overdrive pulley.... I was looking at overdrive pulleys for mine... and they are smaller......
