Alternator Toast

The underdrive pulley for idling loads is a good one. I do idle a little more than usual, because I work out of my truck, and in the cold.

According to the Ford diagnostic my alternator does not output in idle situations. They are not going to warranty it, so I will be putting this together myself.

wouldnt you want an overdrive pulley for idling? i took underdrive pullies off of my bronco because at idle the lights would dim out, and the blower would slow way down.

if youre IDLING <in park> you should consider the BCP (battery
charge protect) mod...basically its the hi-idle (on demand) for
the charging system when "parked"...it wont work when your
in gear (or stop & go traffic necessarily)

Where can I find information on this mod. I looked in the Wiki but didn't see it.??
