Most items on a factory setup are slightly oversized to begin with, so there is absolutely no danger of a problem while under a warranty for the manufacturer. You have a "little" breathing room when upgrading, just don't go crazy. Kinda like adding a chip n some mild mods, or an r.v. cam to a small block chevy. Doesn't make it drag ready, but just a little better than most. I say mild upgrade it, keep good batts in it, and you'll never have a problem.

Agreed.

A little more amperage, for charging RV batteries, OBA, inverters and the like.. is a Good Thing.

Well the update: went with an Ultima 140 Amp alternator ( Part # 392570) got it from O'Reilly $ 200.00 fit perfect- easy install. New not a rebuild. Lifetime - could not pass it up.
