Its mainly molds, dust, grass, oak trees, cigarette smoke, ragweed, etc.

The foods that I was allergic when I was a kid, were watermelon and black eyed peas. I have since grown out of those.

My allergic reaction foods when I was a pup (made me Gag) were: pees, string beans, corn, squash, okra, asparagus, spinach, liver, most fish, or anything that I didn't know what it was.. Like stuff at my Grandma's house. My Aunts house too. My Uncles house too, now that I think about it.

But... I grew out of it too. Funny, things like that taste real good now. Sept'n Okra. And Liver.

;) :D

Glad It went well Bill.

I was little when they did it so I don't remember. I had to get allergy shots for a long time, untill I just stopped going. I have not been effected by them much at all. I was heavily allergic to mold, dust, and sulphur.

Those 3 things are usually on the list if you have blood pressure or cholesterol problems. I gave all 3 of them up several years ago. Along with salt. Butter. Soda. Alot of things. The saw-bones still tells me to put down the Cope and beer.

That is what my dad needs to do. He has terrible hives they think it is caused mostly by high blood pressure and the meds for that.

Bill, it looks like your allergies are environmental. Our family is very familiar with this process. Our oldest son (who is almost 31) has been affected with allergies and asthma since age 4. My wife worked for an allergist in Plano for 19 years until the doctor's retirement a couple of years ago. I have had the skin tests done a couple of times and took the injections, two per week, for a number of years. I still take an antihistamine, and if I miss a dose or two, my sinuses get pretty clogged up. The skin tests and injections are bothersome, but well worth the effort. I could write a book about what we've seen regarding allergies. Just stay on your treatments and follow the doctor's orders and you'll be fine.

Not to Hi Jack, but Crumm, 80 hours a week will make you allergy to work.
That seams to be the way it is when working for a trucking co any more. I am so glad that I am retired from it.
Bill just do what the doctor says to do and you should be fine. Good Luck.
