For those of you that need to watch closely, diesel is going to get a .25 spike in the next day or so. Probably tonight. Might want to go top off.

Melinda is on nights, I'm on closing...
She gets home at 7am, I leave at 8:30
I get home at 8:00pm, she leaves at 10pm

I put nine gallons in the Bug on Friday, after both of us driving it for a week...

I think you're wrong, the price of fuel isn't going up, it's gonna go down. Reason I know is because I just dropped about $300 to top off the aux tank anticipating the price increase you're forecasting. So Murphy's law being what it is, now that I've dropped a good chunk of change on my fuel, you all can thank me when diesel fuel goes down in price.:rolleyes:

Mrs. TG and I have the same situation. She works nites and gets home around 7:00 am. The earliest I have to be at work is 8:00 am. The car gets about 30mpg, but I like driving the truck more. For some reason folks seem more inclined to ride my ass or not move over to the slow lane when I'm driving the car.

Why even tell us its going up. We dont have a choice they are gonna raise it as much as they want then sit behind their desks and say "what are you gonna do about it". Then i'll go fill up and not be happy bout it but thats all we can do.

That sure sounds like a good plan... For us, we just get up when we wake up, look out the window, and decide if we want to go out or stay in.
Retirement is good...:D

I paid 4.55 yesterday, 1/4 of a tank...other than hauling some rock
and a suncoast storage bin weve barely used the truck.

hope to order my 45gal aux tank this week and get it installed.
