They didn't kill it just to kill it. They are having sausage and ham made out of it. I am sure they will have enough sausage for there friends in town.
How many people has that thing killed in the past ten or fifteen years, that we may not know of. My wife was glad it was killed. She sent the story to me.
LOL

Hey WD;

That thing is so fat, he couldn't catch me. And with my hip problem, they clock me with a sand dial. :roflmao That hog is so old and tough that it might not be good for fertilizer.

Wild hogs are very distructive. Anybody that grows crops will shoot one on site and more often than not leave it to rot.

They dig up fields, tear up fences, eat anything that they can catch including new born calfs and deer fawn. A hog that size would require a hugh amount of food.

Hogs bread expontially fast starting at 6 months of age having 2-10 in a litter 2 to 3 times a year.

If you have rats in your attic you do your best to kill them.............same with hogs.

I hate to be a skeptic but those pictures do look odd. If you look closely, they appear to be taken from a position that makes the hog appear big and the people smaller - as if real low and close but the people are sitting back a ways. Maybe not, we have a photog here - can't remember off hand who. Maybe he can offer thoughts.

also, the sausage is all gone already? how is that possible? THere hasnt been time to fully process it yet.

I think the picture with the hog hanging from the front-end loader looks fishy. From that angle, it doesn't appear to be 10'7" tall like they claim in one of the other photos.
