air temp sensor

Hi, new to the site with a question:

I read the WIKI about using the NAPA filter mod, but the pics dont explain what to do with the air temp sensor thats removed from the stock airbox. Since the airbox goes away, what do you do with the sensor?

Just wire tie it to something.. where it can still, freely sense ambient Air temps. The sensor will continue to have an input to the PCM concerning air temperature, along with the other sensors, like Oil & Coolant temps, during the Starting/Warm up process.

Mine is just sitting on top of the fender well next to the filter. Been that way for 5 years.

Yeap, just zip tie to somewhere in the nearby.
