Air Ride Seat??

Has anyone ever put an air ride seat in their pickup? Was just thinking it would be nice to soften up the ride for the operator . Besides I need some more mods to do... I found a 3" travel suspension that will fit, just wondered if anyone has done it or seen it

I've seen it in amagazine somewhere, can't remember the name. Think the new IHC coversion truck has air ride seats in the front. When I was driving semi's, I rode in the floor, let the air suspension work, only wanted to hit the bumps once. It's still a cool mod, don't get me wrong. Some air seats have a "hand" pump built in the seat for airing up or down, if you don't want to install a tank and compressor.

The wife and I been discussing the purchase of a kit for both fronts seats of the Excursion for some time.

i bet they are very organized and well planned out. It allways seems like you have a favorite saved for all most any product.

I did send in a quote request for driver and pass. side mounts. just coureous as to how much they cost.

But hows that thing gonna work with the power seats? I dont need it to slide cause my seat is all the way back anyways i just want the tilt for relaxing.

Don't know about the slide but from the documentation the factory seat bolts right on,I'd like to see it first hand installed

a representative from the company that bill gave the link too, just called me.

he told me that the factory seats will not bolt upto their pedastels.

he said he has seen guys do it, but the seats sit way too high.
