My next project is going to be to try to utilize a set of AirLift bags and compressor.
They are about 10yrs. old, taken off a Chevy 2500 HD which was wrecked.

The first and biggest problem I noticed is the top mount of the bag won't fit the Ford frame.

Q: Can I get a set of mounts to fit ???

The second problem would be to get some air line and fittings.
I probably could find some somewhere.

The third and hopefully last problem would be the install of the compressor (physical location),
routing of the air line for the gauge, and of course connecting the pump electrically to the OEM up lifter switches.

Q: So any ideas ?????

Amazon has all kinds of Air Bag suspension parts & pieces.. kits and the like.

As far as the compressor/gauge location & hook up... it's ALL on you as to what and where.. works for you ?

If you poke around in the Amazon air bag section.. there are Links to the manufacture's (Air Lift), for Install instructions... based on Year, Make and Model.

Yes I know I can buy kits through the internet,
But I was looking just looking for the vehicle specific mounts.

Auto Zone even sells a parts kit (hose and fitting)

Also, What is the ideal location for the pump?
(I know I can put it any where)

What about connection to the 'uplifter switches' ?

I had an air compressor that I mounted under the hood of my 2004 6.0 for air horns. I had to make a bracket to mount it to the left side inner fender. I had a tank I mounter under the truck for the reservoir and an electric valve to "honk" the horns. I got my stuff at http://www.airhornsoftexas.com. The bags and mounts I don't know, but you can google for them.

My compresser and tank reside in the in-box tool box. They have been there for 15 yrs and work as well as when they were new.Keeping them out of the weather and dirt is the key. There are some pics in post #1,page#3 of my thread "moveing along".

That's an idea John, Thanks.

I think I'll buy a set of new bags.
If anyone wants the old ones give me a shout.
