ok so while I have this thing discharged I was thinking of changing the orifice tube at the same time. Right? and if so what tool do I ask for to change it out? and its at the bottom of the silver tanky thing?? sorry to sound so dumb but haven't had to many problems with a/c. and get the vov and not the fixed?
This is the first auto I have owned where the a/c has worked!
Just my opinion but, Working on, and replaceing Compontent parts.. on HAVAC systems needs to be done by the Qualified HAVAC Folks. It's not something that can be done in our driveways or home shops.. unless we have the special equipment, tools & knowledge.. of the inter-workings.... ?
R-134 needs to be recovered (EPA), the system needs to be psi tested, then vacuumed down.. On & On...
Maybe a member that's an Auto-A/C type.. can Chime in here ?????
