air brakes

If I want to install air brakes on my 99 f350 crew cab dully would I need new axles or would they bolt on to the stock axles?

you can do it but it would take some fabrication to make it work, there is possible already a kit for this but it would take some hunting

The parts needed to put air brakes on your truck are not available in sizes that small. Air brakes are not better than disc brakes, although they are cool sounding. Maybe someone makes drum brakes small enough to fit under your truck (trailer brakes?), but you would be taking a step or two backwards.

have to agree with Dave, just cant see it as being necessary for your size truck, unless your combined gross weight is 40 tons.

just put a blowoff valve connected to ur brake lights that lets out air off of a compressor and tank. then you can run an air horn too
