Ok,

I have a question. Now please bear with me, I do not have a whole lot of info, I'm just trying to get an average answer.

My brother called me tonight, he had some airbags installed on his new Dodge 3/4 ton truck. He is headed to SLC tonight with a car hauler trailer to pick up a new Jetta for his son. He called and asked me how much air he should add when he gets his trailer loaded. Now, without knowing what the heck he had installed, I'm just asking about a normal pressure range you all put in your bags when attached to a trailer. I told him all he needs is to re-level the trailer and truck with the bags, but we are wondering what would be too much.

Now, he does not remember getting any literature on these from the dealer, (more likely, he did not pay attention to it, or it's sitting on his desk), or we could look at the DIRECTIONS. You just have to know my brother.

Any info you could give me tonight or tomorrow morning would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I agree Barrett, level out the truck and trailer with the load on it. It will not be too much.

I have the air rides on my truck and I know they say not to go over 100psi. When I am loaded with my 5th wheel, I put in 60psi each. Has me sitting nice and level.

When I pull my 10,000lb. work trailer, I put 30 PSI in. That levels it nicely, and maintains a decent ride. Sometimes I put more in, if the trailer is a little heavier. When I am running empty I run about 10 PSI.
