I have been after a rear swaybar for my truck, but I have a question. Would the rear air bags work as a swaybar? I use them for towing the camper, other wise, they are deflated. They are on seperate lines, have to fill each one by itself. If I were to ad enough air for a comfortable ride, would they act like a swaybar?

Thanks

No, the air bags are springs and not a sway bar. Two different things and functions. If you isolate them like you are talking about, they will act sorta like a sway bar, but not as effective because the air bags will not transfer the swaying force from one side to the other; just resist the force on one side only. Clear??

ps you aren't supposed to completely deflate the air bags
when not in use

Right. My Ride-Rites call for 15 psi.. minimum, at all times.

Keeps them from being flattened, beyond their natural state.. and cracking.
