Ok Im in a 2008 SD Desiel. How the heck do I aim these lights. They seem to be pointed streight down. I had a small fender bender that cracked the head lights. The body shop replaced them, but they didn't aim them well at all.

I have searched all over this forum site and I can't find an answer. Im leaving out of town and my dealer service manuels won't get here in time. Any ideas?

If it's like my 2005 there is a small torx screw that you turn to adjust the height of the lights. PArk the truck about 25 feet from a flat wall and aim the lights so they hit the wall just slightly below the height of the center of the light. Measure from the ground to the center of the headlight then measure for the ground to where the center of the beam is on the wall. I usually go about 1-1.5 inches lower on the wall than the center of the light and works well for me. (If the headlight measures 25" from the ground I adjust so the light hits 23-24" from the ground on the wall.

:dunno It's a good idea to have a Full tank of fuel.. and if you tow or carry anything.. you might wana adjust them a tad low, unloaded.. so with a trailor or load.. yer not blinding oncoming traffic ?

Might be kind of a "DUH".. but some folks don't think about that.
