Did you do the drop in or the entire intake? From what I've heard, you'll hear the turbo more but won't really see any substantial change like we did in the 7.3s. Ever since the 6.0, Ford has really stepped up their game and made sure these motors are well aspirated. Seems like I remember the 6.0 intake being good up to ~500hp?

Just my 2 cents. Let us know your results! Maybe I could be proven wrong.

Thanks for your .02 Jourdan. ;tu

Nah.. didn't go with the whole intake set-up, just yet.. just the deeper oval (not flat) drop-in one. I'm not expecting anything "Yahoo" from it.. just a little more surface area and service life, the fact it can be cleaned and re-installed is a plus too. Most Definitely several notches above the OEM pleated paper thing, as far a quality and design goes.. IMO.

We'll see.. time will tell.

Waaay to soon to tell.. but it seems to be a litlle more pepy on the low end, but that could be jus cuz it's New & Clean.

I'll give it a fill-up or two.. If I see or feel anything noteable.. I'll post it up JR.

How are you liking that dry filter? I'm looking at options on a 2017 truck and the air intake is one item on my list. I have used an oiled filter for about 200k miles on my '02 and can't complain at all. How long does a dry filter last?

I realy like {them}. I bought 2, change them out in Jan & June.. needed or not ? More surface area and they wash up good. Back blow'm @ 60 psi, soak'm overnight. Back wash.. Air Dry.. dun deal.

thanks, Big Joe. Fit right into the stock box, right? I ran the oiled PG6 for about 10 years or more on my '02. Just curious about the dry filter as an alternative.

Yep.. Drop in, IMO better than OEM fit. Better seal ?

Got one...seems better seal to me. Too easy! Thanks for the tip. I kept the original for temporary use instead of buying a 2nd like you did. Call me cheap, will see if I can score a deal on the cleaner and a 2nd filter down the road.
