Saturday night when merging on to the interstate engine stumbled at around 2400 rpms and 3/4ths throttle....hit it again and see LPO and HPO gauges dancing.
Made a few calls, got home and checked the oil...it was aerated. Changed it yesterday and it's aerated on crank up.
Looks like I have a cracked pick up tube for the LPOP. Its now so bad that HPOP gauge is wavering and I have speed surge.
Only way to do it right it to yank the engine. Least it will be going back together with a girdle, forged rods cryoed, head studs and valve springs.
