Adhesive removal

I am going to replace the wheel opening molding on my X this weekend and by the looks of the new one there is a lot of double sided tape holding it on. Has anyone ever replaced this before? What is the easiest way to get the old adhesive off?-popcorn

Probably the same as above, but you can go to Pep Boys and pick up 3M adhesive remover. It's in the paint section. It worked well for me.

pickles in brine or biodiesel?

Biodiesel will work too BUT if using it on a painted surface, wash with soapy water afterwards .

3M works good i got that and some stuff from that smells like oranges made by blaster the PB penetrant company

Piece of cake, didnt have to use anything. It came off really quick and put the new piece on just as fast. Looks really nice once again. Thanks for the replies folks.
