HI...1st time on this chat. I have an extended cab with too small of a standard fuel tank. I have a 2nd tank I tried to install in my bed. In the past with a "standard" fuel injection pump, I just tied the line from the new tank into the return line from the fuel injection pump back to the regular tank. This worked fine and the tank would just stay "full" until the reserve tank empitied, then it would work as normal. Not so with the powerstroke. Apparently the return fuel is high volume and a higher pressure, as running the truck on the highway actually pumped fuel into the reserve tank until it overflowed. Is there a oneway valve or some other method of plumbing the reserve tank that anyone has used without having to go to electric soleinoids or anything like that?
Thanks for your input. Greg

I saw a hookup at Northern Tool and Equipment that connects into the stock tanks vent line (I think) and gravity feeds from the aux tank. From what I read it keeps the stock tank full until the aux tank is empty.

I haven't had any experience with it, just read about it.
