I'm going in on Wed. for ACL surgery. Gonna take a few weeks off work. So you guys should be seeing me a lot of me the next couple of weeks.

i just had mine RE-DONE...removed three old screws and inserted
three new ones...i was walking the day AFTER surgery...3 days later
i had toss ALL crutches aside and was getting around on my own !
make sure they do the pain block youll do fine !

Pat good luck with the surgery hope all goes well. Take to have to take it easy on the go pedal in the truck for a while. LOL

You know what the worst part about the whole thing...i injured my left knee and my truck is a manual. My brother will be driving it for a few weeks.

I had orthoscopic ACL & MCL surgery back around 1988.
I had a fiberglass cast that went from my toes all the way up to my
for 6 whole weeks.
The rehab physical therapy was I joke. Sit on a table with these stupid little ankle weights and do leg lifts for 20 to 30 minutes. After 2 days of that, I told the therapist to kiss my ass and did the 7 story stairwell in the base hospital for 30 to 45 minutes every day until I was back in shape.

got cha' beat im afraid....i had a cast, toe to arse for 3 months...then
went do short version, to to knee for another 4 months...and THAT
had NOTHING to do w/ my ACL related injuries....although it is the
same leg.
im paying the price NOW for having told PT to kiss my arse...in fact
im sore and swollen today <and all i did was cut the lawn....damm i
miss our kids
