AC issues after Intercooler Replacement

I recently had my Intercooler replaced in my 2006 F350 Dually with a 6.0 engine. Prior to having the Intercooler replaced (That Morning) the AC was putting out extremely cold AC. After the replacement I was driving home and the AC was putting out barely cool air. Took back to the shop to have. checked out. There were no leaks in the AC system and the compressor was switching on and off as it was supposed to. Had the system evacuated and recharged. The AC was cooler but not cold like it was before. I checked and the system is full with freon. The intercooler was an upgraded one from KC I believe. Can an upgraded intercooler affect the coolness of the AC
