Check to make sure the compressor is running. If not it could be as simple as a fuse, orthe system could be out of refrigerant. Also make sure the evaporator and condensor are clean.

The electrical connector on top of the clutch might be the best place to start with the truck running wiggle the wire and see if the clutch engages.

Ok, My air is working but not really. If I crank up truck and turn the AC on it is ice cold. It works for about 5 minutes and the the compressor just stops and I back to hot air. Anyone know what to check now. Its startin to get warm and humid here in NC. Thanks for any help you can give.

I'd get back in that connector and make sure you didn't splay the connector open when you dug the corrision out of it... maybe take a seal pick and smush the female terminal together a tad.

When it stops working and with the engine running............tap the fan clutch with a screw driver and see if it engages. If it does see below.

As it wears the the gap increases and the clutch stops working intermittently. You can buy some time by doing the following.....

1) Shut off engine
2) Turn key to on position(engine not running)
3) Turn A/C switch on to engage clutch
4) Remove screw from the front of the clutch
5) Turn A/C switch off to disengage clutch
6) Carefully remove clutch
7) Turn upside down and remove one(1) shim
8) Reassemble clutch on compressor
9) Turn A/C switch on to engage clutch
10) Tighten screw
