ABS light on... VSS?

My ABS light came on today on the way to work. The truck seems to be shifting different as well as the cruise control hunting for the set speed. I am pretty sure it is the VSS but would like a second opinion other than my own.

there should be a code stored for the reason abs light came on....but, more then likely that is your problem....

shake the front wheel bearings and make sure you don't have a loose one..
if not, probably VSS

yup, sounds like the VSS in the pumpkin. Is your OD light flashing?

Fixed, VSS replaced. Parts store computer (O'Reilly's) was calling it the driveline ABS sensor. OD light never flashed.
