A New Hurricane Is Brewing (Ford Hurricane)

It appears that Ford is reviving the Hurricane engine (6.2L V-8), according to this article: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060326/AUTO01/603260358/1148. This is probably the engine that's replacing the V-10.

it's all about the image, you could make a 5.0L v10 or v12 and the greenies would have a coniption fit and call it a gas guzzler while the fact is that more smaller combustions are more efficient in a gas motor.

I owned a V-10 a few years back, and honestly it was an awesome engine. Close to 200k when traded, and no real problems. Still ran well. Water pump, plugs, coil packs, etc. but heads and rotating assembly still original. Hope the new V-8 can live up to that motor. Gotta own one to appreciate how smooth that engine is.
