well to keep my mind off the woman i been workin on my house.and yes it was also to make her realise what she is missing.she comes over a few times a week even when im not home to visit the dog.:sly

but anyways i always wanted to build a wall between my kitchen and living room.we could never get the 2 rooms cooled in the summer.we could get it bearable but never cool.and since we dont spend much time in the kitchen why waste money trying to cool it?plus i wanted to make the kitchen a little bit bigger so there would be more room to walk around the table.well i was gonna go 4 feet into the living room.4 feet was way too much!so i ended up going 3'3"so the front door would still open fully.so i layed down 2 more pieces of plywood so it would be level with the kitchen floor.i need 2 more boxes of tiles to finish it.i need to fix a few screw ups from the last floor adventure but thats easy.i got my 2x4s today and framed the wall.its comeing out pretty good so far.i need a level so i can make sure its all straight and secure the top of it.going to put a 32"x80"door in it.now i just gotta come up with the money for the door, sheetrock and supplies and some wall outlets.

I hope you found some ceiling joists to nail your top plate to. It must be secured before you do the drywall. I can not see in the pictures that it is nailed off to the joists.

the top plate aint secured yet cuz i need to level it off first.i have a level here somewhere but cant find it.gonna steal one of my dads levels tomororow.there is nothing for cieling joists but 1x2 strapping here and there found that out when i put my hand through the cieling and when i hung a light  .one thing that sux about a trailer, the other is the wall studs arent on 16" centers.they are pretty much where ever they decided to put them.
