A little something to brighten your morning.
I think this has been around before but still rings true!!!
Subject: Here am I, send me. (Isaiah 6:8)
There are two things Navy Seals are always taught:
1. Keep your priorities in order.
2. Know when to act without hesitation.

Here is something to smile about:
A college professor, avowed atheist and active member of the A.C.L.U.,
was teaching his college class. He shocked several of his students when
he flatly stated that once and for all he was going to prove that there
was no God. Addressing the ceiling he shouted: "GOD, if you are real,
then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15
minutes!!!!!"

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Ten minutes went by. "I'm waiting God, if you're real, knock me off
this platform!!!"

Again after four minutes, the professor taunted God saying, "Here I am,
God-!! I'm still waiting!!!"

His count down got down to the last couple minutes when a Navy Seal, who
was just released from the Navy, after serving in Afghanistan and Iraq,
and had newly registered for the class, walked up to the Professor. The
Seal hit him full force in the face. This sent the Professor tumbling
from his platform. The Professor was out cold. The students were stunned
and shocked.

They began to babble in confusion. The Seal nonchalantly took his seat
in the front row and sat in silence. The class looked at him and fell
silent also ... waiting. Eventually, the professor came to and was
noticeably shaken. He looked at the Seal in the front row. When the
professor regained his senses and could speak, he asked: "What the heck
is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Seal said, "God was really busy, protecting America's soldiers, who
are protecting your right to say stupid things and act like an ass. So,
He sent me."

God didn't have time to mess with you, so he sent me instead.

:roflmao

Can't say enough about our military and what they do for us. Problem is, too many are saying too much, and it is all negative. San Franscisco banned military recruiting. We have college campuses throughout the nation saying how bad the military is, and how our troops are immoral, baby-killing rapists. I read a story the other day that the main fear (above and beyond the enemy, by a great margin) of troops within the British army is that they will have to shoot somebody during the course of their duties, and face the inevitable court martial, and the possibility that they will do hard time based on the Jury's ability to overanalyze and second guess for days, a life and death descision that the trooper had to make in fractions of a second. It is sad when dissenters and public opinions have made it so hard for our troops to do their jobs that they are more afraid of what WE back home will do to them than they are of the enemy! If ONE trooper dies because he is afraid of the legal ramifications of defending himself, then we should all be ashamed.

So, my solution is this. lets drown out the dissent. Whether you agree with the war or not, you cannot disagree with this. Our men and women deserve better. Make sure you are heard as often as possible touting your support for our troops. God bless them all....

YES..... thanks Robert !!

Heres another. As witnessed by a TIME correspondent.

A group of protesters were protesting US involvement in Iraq, handing out leaflets to passersby.

A young protester tried to hand an elderly lady one. She refused it. The protester tried again. The lady slowly turned, and said:

LOOK... I lost my Dad in WWII, My first husband in Korea, A Son in Veitnam, so you can have the right to do what you are doing. And I think it's WRONG by the way. But you try that again (shakeing an Umbrella) and I'm guna shove this up yer little Butt, and open it !!!

She then turned.... and slowly walked away.

Now if we could only get the commie/France loving Canadian Government to think the same it would be great. My wife are big fans of the US and the US Military. My dad was in WW2 and my brother served in Korea. Side by side with US troops. That's why we have a US flag front Licence Plate and a set of 50 inch Flaming Stars and Stripes Eagles on the sides of our truck.

I was a little worried at first when I put on the Eagles but I've had nothing but compliments. And two guys asked where I got them cause they wanted a set.:thumbs

I just pray the war will be over soon and the boys can come home.:cowboy:

Thanks guys for all the comments here. I am currently in the US Army, not deployed right now but I think the guys and gals in the military are doing a great job over there and we, the American people should be grateful and not critize them for doing their job.

Where did you get that set of 50 inch Flaming Stars and Stripes Eagles on the sides of our truck?
