Nissan's don't do much better. I had a teeny-boper hit me at a solid 15-20 mph while I was stopped at a red light in 03. Was in my 01 F350 s/c, the hitch took the full shot. Her explanation? Simple. She was replying to a text message. I needed a new stinger and the bumper was scratched. She needed another car.

One of my service trucks with a trailer got rear ended a couple years ago in the winter. A light had changed and it is hard enough to stop an Econoline with a trialer full of water plus the slush on the road, but he managed to come to a complete stop. Then all of a sudden he got slammed not once, but twice, pushing the truck 5 feet forward. An aerostar van rear ended the trailer bending the ICC rear channel all to hell and tweaked the hose reel. The force bent the trailer hitch under the truck, but that was about it. The old guy that hit him was totaled and blamed it on my driver saying no tail lights were working, but even after being smashed they still worked so he got a ticket for that one.

I put on the trailer hitch just for that reason.......getting rear ended. My brother got hit about a month before me but his hitch took all the hit and the other vehicle was hurtin'. So I figured I would do the same in case I got rear ended. Problem is when they miss the hitch totally and crash into the back tire.:roflmao O well at least she wasn't hurt. Good thing she was bye herself too.

That is crazy as hard as see hit you and that was all that happened. I had a blow out and have to replace the whole driverside rear fender. Can't believe the air bags didn't come out. Sorry to see that.

My firebird got hit by a rich daddy's girl in a mustang once in a parking lot. Her fault, but she *****ed about it. I gave up trying to get her to pay for it, since daddy is a lawyer. Then another time I was pulling out of the daycare parking lot and some mexican lady in a blue saturn came flying into the parking lot doing 40 and almost broadsided me. I followed her around town for the rest of the afternoon flashing my brights at her, not just for almost hitting me, but for doing 40 mph in a daycare parking lot.
