This CCV kit that I have takes the fumes from the crank case down to the collection container and then returns back to the inlet just before the turbo. So the system is still pressurized.

Pressurized? Shouldn't that be "under vacuum"?

I believe you are right. I'm not very good with the terminology.

It's just like it was factory, but now with a catch can in the middle.

I reversed the angle when I tried to put it in the exhaust and it was pressurized. I think you know what happened from there.
