Here are a few pics from this past week at the ranch. We were quail hunting but saw lots of deer.

I missed two shots of a really big muley and a 10pt whitetail.

You can tell that mule deer season ended 4 days earlier.......lol, like they have a calendar........they were totally unconcerned with our presence.

Pics 1,2 and 5 were taken within 50yrds of our campsite.

Much easier in the long run to shoot the with a camera than with a gun. Pictures don't taste as good though.

oh man i cant wait to go to texas this year...im leaving in the spring for shepherd air force base for tech school and ill be there for a atleast 6 months...hope to get some hunting in while im there. not many trophy bucks here in maine like there is in texas.

In pic's 4 & 5.. what are >those<.. Wild Animals.. just on the horizon ?? They look like Wild Crain's or something.. If they are, they're awfully big.

Oh yes.........they are a very rare flightless species.
